Our History

In 1904, the Seventh-day Adventist Church's Pacific Press Publishing Association relocated from Oakland, California to Mountain View, bringing Adventist families who desired to have their children receive a Christian education that they might "grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." With that, the Adventist church established "The Pacific Press Training School" in October of 1905 and then an elementary school with 48 students in 1906 at the Press on Villa Street off of what was then named Bailey Ave (now Shoreline Blvd). Initially called the Mountain View Church School and including secondary students, the school quickly grew in size, and in 1918 the high school section was named Mountain View [Union] Academy which is located on the block bounded by West Dana Street - Mountain View Ave - California Street - South Shoreline Boulevard, and the elementary section took the name 十大最佳博彩网站评级 Church School. In 1972, 十大最佳博彩网站评级 Christian School moved from the Villa Street location in Mountain View to the current location, the site of the former Los Altos Carmel Avenue Elementary public school, on Altamead Drive in Los Altos.

Our Mission

十大最佳博彩网站评级 Christian School, an elementary and middle school, provides a Christ-centered, whole-child education to create compassionate citizens, discerning leaders, and purpose-empowered individuals.

Our Vision

Christ-centered, Whole Child Education:

Jesus Christ is the reason for our school’s existence; therefore, our curriculum, conversation, activities, and how we treat each other and manage classrooms are based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

We believe that the child is to develop in all four aspects of our being – spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially – just as Jesus did. *Therefore, we create a balance of education to address all four aspects.*Luke 2:52
